G is for Guard Mounting (or Changing the Guard)

This famous ceremony with marching soldiers happens every day in summer and every other day in winter at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and other royal buildings in London. It is very colourful to watch. The guardsmen march in time to music played by an army band. The band plays some modern tunes and sometimes even pop songs!
