RECORDS AND CORRESPONDENCE CLERK - £18,500 per annum, plus benefits

The Private Secretary's Office acts as the primary source of advice to The Queen on constitutional, government and political matters in the UK, including the development of Her Majesty's domestic and overseas official programmes. The Correspondence Office handles over 300 pieces of incoming mail addressed to The Queen from the general public each day.

You will support both the Chief Clerk and Correspondence teams with their day-to-day duties.  This will include ensuring that files and indexes held within the Chief Clerk's office are properly maintained, assisting with their transfer to the Royal Archives and also responding to letters received by The Queen.

You will have excellent communication and IT skills, with some relevant experience of working within an office environment. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who has initiative, enthusiasm, commitment and who enjoys working in a team environment.
