new pelmet and curtains supplied for the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle

This photograph shows the new pelmet and curtains supplied for the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle in the 1990s, following the devastating fire of 1992. The replacement fabrics, curtains, passementerie and upholstery in the principal rooms were made to the designs of Pamela Lewis, on the basis of historical records. Between October and March each year, the Green Drawing Room is open to the public as part of the visit to Windsor Castle.
