1-4 June 2002

SATURDAY 1 JUNE

8.00pm Classical concert at Buckingham Palace. View pictures and a report.

SUNDAY 2 JUNE

Jubilee church services throughout the country.

MONDAY 3 JUNE

Morning The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh undertook engagements in Windsor and Slough.

1.00pm The Queen launched BBC Music Live to start a music festival in over 200 towns and cities throughout the UK.

7.30pm Pop concert began.

10.40 - 11.00pm Beacon lighting and fireworks display in front of Buckingham Palace.

TUESDAY 4 JUNE

10.40am Ceremonial procession by The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in the Gold Coach from Buckingham Palace, via Temple Bar, to St Paul's Cathedral.

11.30am Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral.

1.15pm Luncheon for The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh given by Lord Mayor at Guildhall.

1.45 - 5.30pm National Festival on the Mall, featuring different parades and pageants.

5.40pm Balcony appearance by The Queen and members of the Royal Family. Fly Past.
