The Queen does indeed hold the title 'Duke of Normandy'. After the Norman conquest and various family feuding, the title was associated with the English crown from the time of King Henry I (r. 1100 - 1135).
Although most of the mainland possessions held by the Angevins were lost, the Channel Islands remained as part of the old Duchy.
These islands are now self-governing possessions of the English crown, and owe allegiance to The Queen in her role as 'Duke of Normandy'.
