STAFF SATISFACTION SURVEY RESULTS 2007

Every year we ask our summer team for feedback on their experience of working with us. It is important that our staff are motivated and content in their work, so that they can offer the best possible service to our visitors.

- In 2005 98% of staff enjoyed working for Royal Collection Enterprises, up from 95% in 2004.

- Training and information sharing are highly valued, and the management team ensures that a detailed and comprehensive training programme is provided for all staff. In 2005 92% of staff felt they had received sufficient information to do their job effectively, up from 84% in 2004.

- We go to great lengths to recruit team players and create a supportive environment for our staff. From management to team member, it is crucial that support is cascaded to create a dedicated and happy team. In 2005 89% of staff felt valued as a team member, up from 87% in 2004. 88% felt they received support and feedback from their immediate manager or supervisor, up from 86% in 2004.

- Many of our team enjoy their summers with us so much that they want to return to Buckingham Palace again for subsequent summer openings. In 2005 86% of staff expressed an interest in returning for another season at Buckingham Palace, up from 76% in 2004.
