![]() ![]() The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall on their wedding day in 2005 MARRIAGE AND FAMILY The Prince of Wales and Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles were married on 9 April 2005 in a civil ceremony at the Guildhall, Windsor. A service of prayer and dedication was held afterwards in St George's Chapel, Windsor. After the ceremony, Mrs Parker Bowles became known as HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. It is intended that The Duchess of Cornwall will use the title HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales accedes to the throne. The Duchess of Cornwall has two children from her previous marriage to Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles: Thomas Henry, born in 1974, and Laura Rose, born in 1978. The marriage was dissolved in 1995. The Prince of Wales is godfather to Tom Parker Bowles. |
