BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The President of the State of Israel (Mr. Shimon Peres) visited The Queen today when Her Majesty presented His Excellency with the Insignia of an Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George.
Ms. Ruth Rouse was received by Her Majesty upon her appointment as High Commissioner for Grenada in London.
The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty's Ambassadors: Mr. Timothy Morris (the Kingdom of Morocco), Mr. Nicholas Archer (the Kingdom of Denmark) and Miss Thorhilda Abbott-Watt (Mongolia).
Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Archer and Mr. Reef Hogg were also received by Her Majesty.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Air League, this morning received Mr. Michael Marshall (President) and Sir Brian Burridge (Chairman).
His Royal Highness, Patron, Rainer, this afternoon held a Reception at St. James's Palace to mark the merger with Crime Concern.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Air Commodore, Air Squadron, this evening attended the Annual General Meeting and Dinner at the Cavalry and Guards Club, London W1.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Mr. Anthony Worth (Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Mrs. Bridget Cracroft-Eley (Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire) which was held in Lincoln Cathedral this afternoon.
The Prince of Wales was represented by the Baroness Willoughby de Eresby.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Jennifer, Lady Gretton.
CLARENCE HOUSE: The Prince of Wales this morning received the Rt. Hon. Alan Johnson MP (Secretary of State for Health).
His Royal Highness later attended a Meeting with Ambassadors from countries within the European Union at the French Ambassador's Residence, Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8.
The Prince of Wales this afternoon held a Meeting for the Steering Committee of The Prince's Rainforests Project.
His Royal Highness afterwards received The President of the State of Israel.
The Prince of Wales this evening gave a Dinner at Clarence House for The Prince of Wales Foundation.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Animal Care Trust, this morning opened The Queen Mother's Hospital for Animals, the Royal Veterinary College, Hawkshead Lane, North Mymms, Hatfield, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (the Countess of Verulam).
Her Royal Highness, President, National Osteoporosis Society, this afternoon visited the North West London Support Group, Royal Free Hospital Recreation Club, Fleet Road, Hampstead, London NW3, and was received by Mr. Ian Johnston (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Earl of Wessex today visited county community projects in Ilfracombe and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. Eric Dancer).
His Royal Highness this morning viewed regeneration work at Pedlars Home Hardware Store, the Baptist Church, Cow Green Community Garden and Alban House Residential Home.
The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited a resident participating in the Transform for Work Programme run by Devon Community Foundation.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Ilfracombe Junior School.
The Earl of Wessex subsequently visited Ilfracombe Police Station and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Station.
His Royal Highness later visited the Slade Community Centre.
BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Princess Royal, President of the Patrons, Crime Concern, this afternoon attended a Reception at St. James's Palace to commemorate the merger of Rainer and Crime Concern and to accept patronage of the new charity, Catch 22.
KENSINGTON PALACE: The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Order of St. John, this morning installed Professor Anthony Mellows as Lord Prior of St. John at a Service in the Priory Church of St. John Clerkenwell, St. John's Square, London EC1, and afterwards attended a Reception at St. John's Gate.
THATCHED HOUSE LODGE RICHMOND PARK: Princess Alexandra this evening attended the Association of Royal Yachtsmen's Biennial Dinner at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, 60 Knightsbridge, London SW1.
