Bottles, crates and barrel of beer supplied for Queen Mary's Doll's House

These bottles, crates and barrel of beer were supplied for Queen Mary's Dolls' House. Although the house was not finally completed until 1924, the beer barrel was evidently made in 1923. In addition to three bottles of Bass & Co's Pale Ale, there are two bottles of 'King's Ale'. Like the house itself - designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens - all these items were made at a uniform scale of 1:12. The Dolls' House is on view to the public at Windsor Castle.
