CHANGES TO OPENING HOURS AT ROYAL RESIDENCES

Following the death of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, some Royal residences will be closed to the public on certain days.

Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh, will be closed to the public on Sunday 31st March and on the day of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (when announced).

The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace, will be closed until following the funeral of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

All the Royal Palaces administered by Historic Royal Palaces will also be closed on Tuesday 9th April. These palaces are: HM Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace State Apartments, the Banqueting House at Whitehall. Kew Palace is also currently shut for restoration work.
