On many occasions HRH will attend a dinner or an evening reception. Throughout the year large receptions take place at Buckingham Palace, St. James’s Palace and Windsor Castle which he attends with The Queen. Prince Philip also holds receptions in his own capacity, for example, as Chancellor of Cambridge or Edinburgh University.

On a few occasions each year, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh attend State dinners, concerts or even film premieres.
