Princess Alexandra is a working member of the Royal Family. This means that she undertakes engagements both in her own right, as a member of the Royal Family and Patron of numerous charities and organisations, and in support of The Queen and Her Majesty's duties.

The activities undertaken by the Princess therefore vary greatly, and range from visits to local hospitals and charities, to State occasions.
