Like his brother The Duke of Cambridge, Prince Harry is a keen sportsman and enjoys participating in and watching sports such as rugby union and polo when he can.

Prince Harry plays polo regularly, both to raise money for charities such as Sentebale and in competitive matches. He played polo for the army while he was training at Sandhurst.

In November 2003, during a gap year in Australia, His Royal Highness played in the Young England versus Young Australia Polo Test Match, near Sydney.

Both The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry play to a one goal handicap.

Prince Harry also enjoys participating in and watching rugby and is Vice Patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Patron of the RFU’s Injured Players Foundation, which supports players who have been injured playing rugby at any level of the game in England.

The Prince’s vice patronage builds on his regular attendance at Twickenham as a supporter and on his gap year experience spent working with the RFU in its community rugby programme.

In September 2004 Prince Harry trained as a Rugby Development Officer for the Rugby Football Union and volunteered in schools around the country encouraging young people to learn the sport.

2012 saw Prince Harry along with his brother and sister-in-law, The Duchess of Cambridge, become a Team GB London 2012 Olympic Ambassador.

As part of the role, Prince Harry represented The Queen at the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as attending numerous sporting events to show his support to Team GB.

For many years Prince Harry has also enjoyed skiing with his father and brother, mostly in the resort of Klosters, Switzerland, although in 1997 they also skied together in Whistler, British Columbia.

In his spare time The Prince also enjoys listening to music and off-road motor-biking.
